Manual Handling

Overview

This course will give you an understanding of how to improve manual handling techniques, move and handle loads safely in a practical environment and be able to conduct a personal manual handling risk assessment.

Course Duration

Half day

At the end of the course you will have an understanding of:

The legislation and manual handling regulations that relate to lifting in the workplace
Identify and assess potential hazards and choose appropriate methods of risk control
Carry out manual handling techniques in a safe and efficient manner

A certificate will be issued to each individual after successful completion of the course.
