Customer service apprenticeships give you the opportunity to work within an exciting customer facing, problem solving role, where you will interact with many different people whilst developing your skills to enhance your career prospects. Customer service is a worldwide industry that can take you on a very exciting career journey.

You will combine both studying and working in a customer service environment, meaning you ‘earn whilst you learn’. Whilst studying to complete the level 3 customer service qualification you will receive support from Portland Training, your tutor/assessor and your employer. You will already have worked in the customer service environment and have experience, Portland Training will enhance those skills, develop them and help you gain an industry recognised qualification. We will also help increase your employability skills by enhancing your maths and English knowledge with functional skills qualifications, if of course, you aren’t already exempt.

All this support will lead to you completing your end point assessment and gaining your customer service specialist level 3 apprenticeship, we will also discuss your options to further your career at a different level.


What will I study?

You will study a range of topics, both bespoke to your company and transferrable across the industry.

As an apprentice you will develop the following knowledge, skills and behaviours through the course.

Completion of this apprenticeship will lead to eligibility to join the Institute of Customer Service as an Individual member at Professional level. Should you choose to progress on a customer service career path, you may be eligible for further professional membership including management.
